| "A friend is someone who knows the song in your heart,
and can sing it back to you when you have forgotten
the words."
i came across this quote online.. quite a powerful quote. this quote describes my friendship with my dear and loving sister esther swen.
looking back at the laughs we've shared, the tears we've shed, the vents we've gone on, the heart-to-heart talks we've had, the crazy ridiculous photos we've taken, the near-death experiences we've come across, the endless partying we've done... the list can go on... when one of us fell, the other was there to pick the other up and continue walking forward... that's what a true friend is. as the quote says, someone who knows the song of my heart and can sing it back to me when i've forgotten the words. you've done just that... many many times... and i can't thank God enough for bringing us together in davis before the start of the 03-04 school year.
estherbabe.. my baby sister.. as you head off to china may you continue to blossom and grow in beauty, in wisdom, and in strength. it's quite a bittersweet moment... being so excited for you as you start this new chapter... but sad that you'll be miles and miles away partying it up with other people besides me and nutty... my baby girl is all grown up!!! i have no doubt that God will surround you with loving brothers and sisters who will walk and serve alongside you.
know that you are in my prayers and thoughts... and i'm sure i'll get all the juicy updates through gchat, email, facebook, xanga, etc.... haha
don't you dare forget about your posse back here, aiite??? so many pictures to choose from.. but here is just a glimpse back on the past few years.. and the many more memories we have to look forward to.. two years should go by pretty fast right??? i sure hope sooooo.. i'm gonna miss you hecka much swennnn!!! wo ai ni, swen mei-mei!!!! |

| After 1 year and 51 days** at The Almanac... I have decided to move on in my career path. **no, i didn't keep track of the days i was at the company.. my coworker counted it so she could put it on the card.
It was bittersweet leaving The Almanac... I developed awesome friendships with my fellow coworkers... some with whom I will continue to keep in touch with. They company threw me a surprise farewell party this past friday... very heartwarming...
